Croșetella
A handmade crochet brand went from Instagram-only sales to a full online store with branding, product pages, and secure checkout.
The challenge
Croșetella sold handmade crochet products exclusively through Instagram DMs. Orders were tracked in spreadsheets, there was no way to search or browse products by collection, and no consistent brand identity. Customer communication was scattered across platforms, and every operational task, from updating prices to managing orders, was manual. The founder needed a professional online store and the tools to run it independently.
The process
We developed a brand identity from scratch: logo, color palette, and typography. Then we custom-built a webshop with product search and autocomplete, curated catalogs for custom collections (e.g. Easter, Christmas), and secure checkout with database encryption. We also built a password-protected administration portal for the business owner, featuring order management, bulk pricing operations, custom categories and tags per language and region, and analytics dashboards covering customer visits, order volume, and most-searched products. The portal includes a built-in messaging channel for communicating directly with customers, and allows expanding the shop to new languages on the fly, without needing a developer.
What we delivered
Croșetella received a custom-built online store with a modern user experience, clear brand identity, searchable products, flexible catalogs, and secure checkout. The private admin portal lets the owner manage orders, update prices in bulk, view analytics, message customers, and add shop languages without developer involvement. Google Translate API pre-fills new translations automatically, so the owner only needs to review and refine the copy instead of translating everything by hand. Automated end-to-end tests and code quality checks help keep the application stable as future updates are added.
